Welcome to Australia's first scout group

1st Mosman Scout Group is your local Mosman scouting community - a diverse, positive, fun, active bunch of girl and boy youth members aged from 7 to 17. Our Cubs (8-10.5), Scouts (10.5-14) and Venturers (14-18) generally meet Saturday afternoons for constructive outdoor activities at Freeston Hall, The Barn or Port Jackson Boatshed.

Scouting is adventurous fun and friendship.

Being youth-led, the program is guided by our youth members' passions and interests. Some of the activities 1st Mosman Scout Group youth members have recently experienced include cooking, caving, canoeing, abseiling, sailing, archery, First Aid training, bush walking, bush survival, go-carting and iceblock building and racing, fishing - and camping as near as Balmoral Oval for Sirius Cup water activities and as far as South Korea for World Scout Jamboree!
